PTSO

At Tiller School, we actively encourage and appreciate parental involvement in their children's learning process. Tiller School has an active parent led Parent/Teacher/Student Organization (PTSO). Parents are strongly encouraged to participate in this important organization.Throughout the year we offer many special events and opportunities for parent involvement.

Parent Involvement Policy

Tiller School is an active community. Our ability to function positively and cohesively depends to a high degree on our parent involvement. There are several ways parents may be involved. These include, but are not limited to the following: serve on the Board of Directors, serve on committees, participation in fundraisers, cleaning, caring for facilities, assisting in classrooms, class presentations of a specific area of expertise, or help out with the club of your choice.

We invite you to join PTSO representatives and the Tiller Director to Tiller Cafe. Coffee and pastries will be served in the staff room the first Monday of every month. Come meet other parents and share your ideas about how to make the Tiller community even better!

Here are some pictures and descriptions off some of our school-wide events!

Tiller parents, teachers, and students came together at the Soup "Buy" The Bowl event. Assisted by local artist, Elizabeth Priddy, students made handmade bowls.

Local restaurants donated soup, bread, and dessert. A local band helped us celebrate and raise money for the school's food pantry.
